Gas Safety Gauge Works In 4 Ways
Safety Shut Off Device
Gas Safety Gauge is designed to monitor the normal flow of gas and sense a sudden change in the flow rate through the gas line from the gas cylinder to the appliance.
Under normal conditions, Gas Safety Gauge allows the gas to pass through uninterrupted. However, in the event of a major leak, Gas Safety Gauge is designed to sense a sudden change in the rate of flow and when it does, it will immediately shut the gas off.
Gas Level Gauge
Instead of running out of gas at the wrong time – or refilling the cylinder before its needed; Gas Safety Gauge incorporates a three stage gas level gauge that tells you when you are low on gas.
What do the colour zones on the gauge mean?
- Green: Plenty of gas
- Amber: Almost empty
- Red: Time to refill
Child Safety Device
By fitting a Gas Safety Gauge to a gas cylinder (or spare cylinder) its easy to prevent the accidental release of gas. This is a really handy feature if you have small children.
When the Gas Safety Gauge is fitted to a spare cylinder it prevents the accidental release of gas by acting as a secondary, automatic valve. Even if the cylinder valve is turned on, Gas Safety Gauge will automatically shut off the gas.
Leak Detection
Through a simple checking process, Gas Safety Gauge can help you find slow leaks in your gas hose and connections between the gas cylinder and the appliance.
